Aged debt is used in the Finance app to track overdue rebates for trading programs and program lines.
The age of debt can be determined by multiple factors depending on your channel setup.
By default, Enable considers a payment to be due when the payment line end date is reached. For example: If a program line spans from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024 with payment frequency Quarterly, the first payment line would become due on April 1, 2024, because the payment line end date is March 31, 2024.
You can also set payment days directly against each trading program using a Terms item. This field allows you to set when rebate payment is due after the payment amount is calculated. For example: Using the same example above, if payment days are set to 15 for the trading program, then the first payment line for the program line would become due on April 15th instead of April 1st.
