Everything you do today, you can still do. The single-page experience changes where things are on screen, not what you can do. Every task from the Wizard and Manual options is available, your existing trading programs and calculations are untouched, and nothing needs to be redone. What's different is that the program create and edit experience is now streamlined, with everything in one place, fewer screens, and the ability to edit multiple program lines at once.
Introduction
The single-page experience is where you create and edit trading programs and their program lines. Everything for a trading program sits on one page: program details at the top and program lines below.
Rolling out from October 14, 2026, the single-page experience becomes the default way to create and edit trading programs, replacing the existing options. Your existing trading programs, program lines, and calculations are not affected; only the screens you use to set them up.
What's new:
Create a trading program and all of its program lines on one page.
Edit one program line or several at a time, each saved independently.
The option to view, create, and edit an individual program in the legacy UI until February 2027

Creating Trading Programs and Program Lines
Instead of stepping through the Wizard or building each program line separately in Manual mode, you set up a new trading program and its program lines all on one page.
From the Activity tab, click on Create a trading program and enter the trading program details at the top of the page. You can also navigate from the List tab, and click on Create program.
Click on Create a program line and add up to 50 program lines at a time. Each program line expands inline so you can set its mechanism, trading partners, dimension items, rates, and conditions without leaving the page.
Set trading partners and dimension items for each program line using selection rules, moving between program lines on the same screen as you go.
Click Save to persist changes to the trading program and each program line.
Editing Trading Programs and Program Lines
Opening a trading program shows it in view-only mode. All editing happens on the Details tab, which shows the trading program details and its program lines together on one page.
From the Details tab, click Edit in the bottom left corner. This unlocks the program details and its program lines for editing.
Make your changes to the program and any of its program lines. Any unsaved changes will be flagged.
Click Save on each item you changed. The program and each program line save independently, so if you edit the program and several program lines, save each one to persist the changes.
You can also open a specific program line for editing from the Program lines tab:
Click the pencil icon (Edit program line) on the right of the row to edit a single program line or select one or more program lines you want to change, then click Edit in the action bar at the bottom of the page.
Both will take you to the Details tab with a filter for the selected program lines. From there, click Edit in the bottom left corner.
Note: When editing multiple program lines, the Forecasting and Earnings tabs are hidden as they operate at the program-line level. To view these tabs, select a single program line.
Changes to note
A few behaviours have changed. Here's what to expect:
Area | What changed | Why |
Accrual bands | The selected accrual band is saved when you save the program line, not as a separate action. Otherwise unchanged. | One save entry point per program line. |
Additional condition status | Setting a condition to met, not met, or forecast as met is saved when you save the program line, not as a separate action. Otherwise unchanged. | One save entry point per program line. |
Member earnings, member-specific targets, individual baselines | Now available when creating a program line. Relevant members are determined dynamically from your selection rules rather than from previously saved selection data. | Consistency between creating and editing. |
Selection rule validation | A program line save is blocked only if a collection has no direct selections and no indirect rules. Previously, an indirect rule also had to match at least one item at save time. | The old check was restrictive for little benefit; later data changes could empty the rule anyway. |
Dimension item specific rates upload | No longer adds dimension items that are missing from the program line's selection rule. It now validates that each uploaded row's item is already included, the same way other dimension item CSV uploads do. To add missing items, use the bulk dimension item CSV upload or the selection rule, then upload rates. | Consistency across CSV upload types; fewer hidden side effects. |
Viewing a program in the legacy UI
Until February 2027, you can open any program in the legacy manual experience if you need it. After this date, the legacy view will no longer be available, and all programs will open in the single-page experience only.
Open the Details tab for your program in the single-page experience.
Click the ellipses (⋯) at the top right corner and select Revert to legacy UI.
The trading program opens in the legacy view. Any changes you make are saved to the same trading program.
Important: the legacy view is temporary. It applies to the program you’re viewing and editing for the current visit only. When you leave the page and come back, or open the program from the sitemap or a link, it opens in the single-page experience again. If you need the legacy view a second time, select it again. This behavior is intentional and gives everyone time to get used to the single-page experience.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to switch on October 14, or can I choose when?
The single-page experience becomes the default on October 14. Until February 2027 you can open any individual trading program in the legacy UI, but this resets each time you open the program.
Why did my trading program open in the single-page experience after I reverted to the legacy UI?
The legacy view lasts for the current visit only. Each time you open a trading program, it opens in the single-page experience. Select Revert to legacy UI again if you need it.
What happens if I navigate away with unsaved changes?
Unsaved changes are flagged on the program and on each program line in the left-hand panel. If you leave the page, you are prompted to save or discard. Use Discard to abandon changes on an item, or Exit edit mode to return to view-only.
Can I still replicate a program line?
Yes. From the Program lines tab, tick the program line and click Replicate in the action bar at the bottom of the page.
Has anything changed about who can create or edit, or how approvals work?
No. The same users who could create or edit trading programs before can do so in the single-page experience, and approval workflows behave exactly as they do today.
Will anything change for approvers or finance users who only view trading programs?
No. Viewing, approvals, earnings, and reports are unchanged. Only the create and edit screens are new.
Can I save a program line that has no selections yet?
Yes. A program line only needs a selection rule configured; it no longer has to match at least one item at save time. If products or other items are added later, the rule picks them up automatically.
What happens if one program line fails validation while others save?
Each program line is validated on its own save. If one fails, only that line is held; program lines you have already saved are unaffected. Fix the flagged fields and save the line again.
Can I edit several program lines at the same time?
Yes. From the Program lines tab, select up to 50 program lines at a time and click Edit. They open together on the Details tab. The Forecasting and Earnings tabs are hidden while more than one program line is selected.
My dimension item rates upload failed because an item wasn't included. What do I do?
The upload now checks that each item is already in the program line's selection rule. Add the items via the bulk dimension item CSV upload or the selection rule, then upload rates again.
