How to configure program line details
To create your program line, you will need to complete the details for the options outlined below.
Single contract creation view:
Populate the following program line settings:
Reference: Enter a reference for the program line, which will be displayed on the trading program PDF and visible to your trading partner. You can also use program line references to filter reports. This reference does not need to be unique.
Description: Enter an optional description for the program line, which will be displayed on the trading program PDF and visible to your trading partner.
Start date: The date your program line begins. This will default to the start date of your trading program, but can be different for the program line. Note: Transaction data for your trading program will be matched to its program lines. Part of this matching is based on the date of the transaction, in that the given data must fall within the period for the program line.
End date: The date your program line ends. This will default to the end date of your trading program, but can be different for the program line. Note: The start and end dates can be the same date if required, e.g. for single day agreements or promotional sales.
Program line type: Select a type that best reflects the purpose of the program line. Program line types can be used for reporting purposes. If you wish to add, remove or make any changes to the configured program line types, please raise a ticket with our Support team including details of the changes you’d like to make.
Notes: Enter any additional notes for the program line, which will be displayed on the trading program PDF and visible to your trading partner.
Mechanism: Select the applicable mechanism from the configured options. Each mechanism will contain unique calculations; see our guidance on mechanisms for more information.
Payment granularity: Select the level at which payment is expected for this program line.
Payment frequency: Select the frequency to determine how many payment lines are generated for the program line’s term.
Claim point: Select the point at which you want to claim rebate for the payment line, based on the payment frequency. In arrears will have payment lines claimed on the end date of the payment line, whereas In advance will have payment lines claimed on the start date of the payment line.
Processed: If this field has been configured for your channel, only set the checkbox if payments have been manually allocated for the program line.
Qualifying transactions
Once you have selected a mechanism, the Qualifying transactions section will be displayed on the right for the manual creation, and in the Qualifying transactions section in the single contract creation view.
Before you can save your program line, you will need to choose which dimension items qualify for rebate.

Additional program line settings
Depending on your requirements, you can also configure the below settings for your program line:
Additional conditions: Use this option to configure a program line to only start earning rebate when one or more additional conditions are met.
Deductions: Use deductions to subtract earnings for another program line from this program line.
Inverse earnings: Click on the More at the bottom of the right section to display the Inverse earnings setting. Set the checkbox to change any earnings against the program line to the inverse of the value calculated, e.g. if a program line calculated $5000 in earnings, the inverse earnings would be -$5000.
Once you are happy with your program line settings, click the Save button. Your program line will now appear against your selected trading program.
