Dimensions establish the business context and represent the aspects of your organization relevant to a trading program.
Your channel will typically have 2-4 dimensions which can operate at either a trading partner or channel level. They are configured with dimension attributes and contain a list of dimension items.
For almost every mechanism you select in a trading program's program lines, you will be required to assign at least one item from each of your dimensions to the program line you are creating.
Included dimensions determine which entities should earn rebate, for example which products, product groups or product categories are earning the rebate specified in a given program line.
