How to invite collaborators to view SPAs for a trading partner
To invite collaborators via the trading partner Collaborators tab, click the + Invite collaborator button.
The collaborator settings will automatically be displayed on the right of the page for you to enter using the guidance below.
Enter details
-
Email address: Add an email address for your collaborator. You can add multiple collaborators using spaces, commas or semi-colons to create a list, for example, user1@enable.com, user2@enable.com, user3@enable.com.
Access settings
-
Can access deals: Set the checkbox to provide access to SPAs. Your collaborator will only have access to view SPAs where Visibility has been set to Shared (in the Details section of the Terms tab).
-
Allow collaborator to request SPAs: Set the checkbox to allow your collaborator user to submit new SPA requests, including details of the new proposed agreement.
-
Can submit transactional data: Set the checkbox if you wish to give your collaborator access to import their own transactions.
-
Can submit purchases or sales: Displayed when the Can submit transactional data checkbox is set. If your collaborator user is your distributor, click the hamburger icon and set the checkbox for Sales and/or Purchases to allow them to submit sales transactions and/or PO receipts, and click OK. If your collaborator user is your manufacturer, click the hamburger icon and set the checkbox for Purchases to allow them to submit PO receipts, and click OK.
-
Can submit advised earnings: Displayed when the Can submit transactional data checkbox is set. Set the checkbox to allow your collaborator to specify the earnings they think should be calculated within an additional column in the transaction file. Note: This is not used for calculating support, but can be used by your team as a validation step to ensure alignment.
Note: Other access setting options may be displayed here, but will not impact collaborator views of SPAs. Learn more about collaborator access settings for trading programs here.
Save and invite
Click the Save and invite button to automatically send out an invite email to the collaborator.
The collaborator(s) will then add in their name and any other details when creating their Enable account via the invite email, and will be able to access the SPAs shared with them.
Reviewing a collaborator’s invite status
After a collaborator has been created, the Invite status column in the Collaborators tab will display the stage the collaborator invite is at, and whether the invite has been accepted.
The invite status for each collaborator will display one of the 4 statuses as a colour:
-
Empty: No invite has been sent.
-
Amber: Collaborator has been invited but hasn’t yet accepted.
-
Green: Collaborator has been invited and has accepted.
-
Red: Collaborator has declined the invite.
How to resend collaborator invites for SPAs
If an additional invite email is needed by your collaborator at any stage, or if you would like to send another invite as a reminder, select the relevant collaborator in this area and click the Resend invite button.
The invite email will be automatically sent to the collaborator. The collaborator will then add in their name and any other details when creating their Enable account via the invite email, and will be able to access the SPAs shared with them.
