Special pricing agreements (SPAs) can be edited in bulk using a download from the listing and uploaded via the contract import tool.
The SPA contract import tool allows a quick upload process of agreements into Enable, reducing manual effort for teams when large volumes of agreements are being changed.
This article will guide you through editing SPAs in bulk.

Editing SPAs in bulk
To edit SPAs in bulk:
Step 1: Within the special pricing agreements app, click on SPAs in the green banner at the top of the page.
Step 2: Click on SPA listing in the drop-down menu.
Step 3: Within the listing, click Modes and select Bulk edit.
Step 4: Select the SPAs you wish to edit. Tip: Use the listing filters to help narrow your selection.
Step 5: Click the Download CSV button at the bottom of the page.
Step 6: Make any required edits in the CSV. Examples of this could include:
- Changing the start date from “2024-10-31” to “2025-10-31”.
- Adding a product to the SPA in the Support - Distributor delivery - Products - Direct inclusions column by changing the row’s value from “BOIL1” to “BOIL1, BOIL2”.
Step 7: If you are editing a previously approved SPA, populate the Version or period column with either:
- Version: Use if the changes are retrospective, i.e. the changes should apply to all transactions past and future.
- Period: Use if the changes are non-retrospective, i.e. the changes should apply only to transactions from the date the change will be uploaded going forward.
Step 8: Once you are happy with the changes made to the CSV, save the file.
Step 9: Within the special pricing agreements app, click on Config in the green banner at the top of the page. Note: Channel admin users have access to the Config area and contract upload within Enable.
Step 10: Click on Contracts import in the drop-down menu.
Step 11: Ensure Fully qualified SPA is selected in the drop-down in the top right of the page.
Step 12: Click the Upload tile and select the CSV file you edited.
Step 13: An initial validation will automatically be generated to ensure the file’s formatting is correct. If any issues exist, these will be displayed in the Validation section for you to review and amend in the template file before re-uploading. If no issues exist, the file will be imported.
