Creating a SPA type
Channel admin users have access to the Config area within Enable.
To create a new SPA type:
Step 1: Click on Config in the green banner at the top of the page.
Step 2: Click on SPA types in the drop-down menu.
Step 3: Click the Create SPA type button.
Step 4: Populate the following in the Fields tab:
- Reference: Enter a unique reference to identify this SPA type in agreements. If left blank when the SPA type is saved, a reference will be automatically generated. Tip: Ensure the reference can be easily identified by your team, as it will be displayed in the SPA type drop-down when a user creates a SPA.
- Name: Enter a descriptive name, used to help your team understand the purpose of the SPA type in the config page.
- List price: Select the price list your organization uses to market products to all distributors.
- List price discount matrix: Select the matrix that applies a discount to the list price per distributor.
- Cost sheet: Select the price list that houses the product’s unit cost.
Step 5: If required, click the Add product rebate button if the distributor also has rebates on the SPA products. Select a Rebate matrix from the options configured in your channel, and select the Price rebate applies to (List price, Into-stock price, or SPA price).
Step 6: If required, click the Add other rebate button if the distributor also has rebates for operational activities, e.g. logistics or marketing. Select a Rebate matrix from the options configured in your channel, and select the Price rebate applies to (List price, Into-stock price, or SPA price).
Step 7: Click on the Net price visibility tab. By default, admin users will have visibility of every available column within the net price report. If any of these columns are not required, leave the checkbox blank.
Step 8: Select Regular user and set the checkbox for each column you wish the user type to have visibility of in the net price report.
Step 9: Select Collaborator and set the checkbox for each column you wish the user type to have visibility of in the net price report.
Step 10: Click the Create and activate button once you are happy with your SPA type values. Alternatively, click the Save draft button to finish the configuration at a later time. Note: If you wish to cancel the new SPA type, use Done to navigate back to the SPA types listing page.
