How to start the approval workflow
Once automatic approval workflow has been configured, users with SPA edit permissions will be able to see the Start workflow button via the Approval tab.
To start the automatic workflow:
Step 1: Create a SPA. Once an agreement has been created and all mandatory fields are filled out, the contract status will be set to Ready for approval. This means that the SPA is yet to be sent through the approval process and will remain as a draft until it has been started.
Step 2: Click on the Terms tab in your SPA.
Step 3: Click the Start workflow button at the bottom of the page.
The contract status will automatically change from Ready for approval to For signing.
The next user in the workflow will then receive an automated email asking them to accept or reject the proposed SPA. This email will include a link to navigate the user directly to the Approval workflow tab.
Alternatively, if you are the user who initiated the workflow (or a channel admin user), you can click the Cancel button at the bottom of the page to cancel the workflow and revert the contract status from For signing to Ready for approval.
